Family saloon and estate replacement: what you will actually get

If you drive a family saloon or estate — Octavia, Passat, Superb, Insignia, Mazda 6 — your replacement comes from the same band, and the workhorse of that supply is the Skoda Octavia, which fleets run in both hatch/saloon and estate forms. In the GTA tables this is the group S5–S7 band (Mondeo/Vectra/Passat-era examples; GTA Technical rate tables, gtacredithire.com).

Which models count as like-for-like for a family saloon or estate?
Cars of equivalent size, engine band and body utility. For estate drivers, load space is part of the match: an estate should be replaced with an estate or a car of genuinely comparable carrying capacity, not a booted saloon with half the load bay.
What will I not be given?
Not a medium hatchback: a Golf-class car is a class below on space and does not match an Octavia or Passat driver's position. Executive-badge saloons (3 Series/C-Class) are a different band — prestige groups in the GTA convention — and are not the standard supply here.
