If you drive a seven-seater, the seat count is the match: a family that travels seven-up cannot function in a five-seat car, and like-for-like supply recognises that. Which models count as like-for-like for an MPV or 7-seater?
Anything genuinely carrying seven usable seats with comparable access — sliding doors matched where they matter to you (child seats, tight parking). A seven-seat SUV for a Galaxy is a fair modern match; the seat count is non-negotiable.
What will I not be given?
Not a five-seater "because the third row is rarely used" — if you carry seven, five seats is not like-for-like and you should say so at the outset. Occasional-seven compacts with token third rows are also a poor match for a full-size MPV; name your real seating use when the hire is arranged (how supply works).
