Which models count as like-for-like for a sports car?
A car matching the character that defines yours: performance band, body style (a convertible for a convertible), and market position. The GTA sports groups are the published reference for what sits with what — a Cooper S with a Fiesta ST, a Boxster with a Z4 3.0.
What will I not be given?
Usually not your exact car, and this is the class where that must be said plainly: no fleet holds ranks of Caymans. What you should not accept is a class collapse — a diesel hatchback is not a match for any sports car, and a fixed-head hatch is not a match for a convertible bought to be open.
